I wanted to give you all a summary of the teleconference call for Business Leaders that I attended last evening, 9/22/05.

ROGER BARNETT'S REPORT:

• Traveled to Nairobi, Kenya, with Wangari Maathai following the National Convention in August. He visited one of Wangari's villages in the Green Belt Movement who have been planting trees to reforest Kenya and talked with people there about planting botanicals that can be used in Shaklee's products. He also talked with them about creating financial stability for individuals, using Shaklee's business model in Kenya. When he explained (Roger speaks Swahili) to them that the Shaklee business model gives people the chance to help others have better health, help the environment, and to use Shaklee to create economic opportunity for everyone - they got excited! They had never heard of anything like that!
  
• Roger planted a tree for Shaklee in one of the forests in Kenya, along with ambassadors from several other countries. If you travel to Kenya, Roger will email you at your request the directions for finding the trees they planted.
  
• The Committee for the Environment in Washington, D.C., wants Shaklee to be a consultant on environmental issues.
  
• August business was up 4% over last August.
  
• NutriFeron sold out stock immediately following the Convention and has sold out several more times since then!
  
• Shaklee Business owners & members have contributed more than $300,000 through Shaklee Cares for the Katrina victims.

OTHER NEWS:

• On Jan. 7, 2006, Saturday, there will be the largest collaborative Shaklee meeting ever for the kick-off of Shaklee's 50th Golden Jubilee Anniversary. Meetings will be help all over the country by Business Leaders who will receive a DVD for the meeting which will come just a few days before the meeting. Put it on your calendar!!
  
• August 16 - 20 - join us in San Francisco for Shaklee's Golden Jubilee Celebration. Pre-register at myShaklee.com
  
• The Share-It Pack for NutriFeron will have NEW packaging and the special free membership with the Share-It Pack will continue through Oct. 31.
  
• A catalog test with a subset of non-renewed members is being conducted currently by Shaklee. Three different catalogs were mailed out to a random selection of those past members to see whether or not this will create renewed interest in Shaklee membership.
  
• The ALL NEW Shaklee Product Guide (the BIG catalog) is now available to order!

• Dr. Jamie is working on a Physician's Pack with the NutriFeron. There will eventually be a link on the websie for physicians, with language they will understand and answers they will be looking for. Dr. Jamie answered someone's question about whether it's good to take NutriFeron daily - her answer was, "Yes", it will not interfere with the body's own mechanisms by taking it on a daily basis.
  
• Vita-Lea Gold is not currently part of a Basics strip though may be in the future - please advise people choosing Vita-Lea Gold to complete the Essential Foundation by adding Vita-C, Vita-E, B-Complex, and Energizing Soy Protein as the Foundation for better health. Dr. Jamie also strongly recommends adding NutriFeron to that basic program as well. Those people who have organ transplants should contact Shaklee sciences personally through their Business Leader.

Great News! Menopause Balance Complex Cooling Lotion works great for women NOT in menopause! Like many Shaklee products, there are all kinds of benefits and side-benefits to this amazing product. The new products introduced at the Convention in August have sold 100's of times over the projections creating back-orders. This reminded me that circumstances don't dictate our success, but our attitude toward them does. If we cultivate the attitude that we are bigger than the problems that face us, we will always see creative solutions.

"Wait a minute! Let's dig a hole," my wife suggested. So we did. Fortunately, I was off the pavement and on the shoulder. Indeed it was about as hard as cement. But with the tire wrench I chipped away! Stone by stone, pebble by pebble, I labored on until I had dug a hole deep enough to take the flat tire off and drop the spare tire into-and onto the waiting bolts! Did I ever feel the exhilaration of a personal triumph! Every problem can become a personal triumph, making life a real adventure from beginning to end!

If you never challenge personal problems, you'll never be able to taste the exhilaration of a personal triumph! Remember: triumph is made up of two words: try and umph.
