I had one of those what was I thinking moments when I learned that Site Sell offers RSS feeds on their websites. If you don't know what RSS is yet take it from me it's the thing of the future and if you are in the internet marketing business it's time to learn... What's amazing to me is if I would have had my website hosted on Site Sell I would have saved myself a lot of time and trouble. Oh well...live and learn.. My focus is now on you the people I'm helping build marketing business for... I just wanted to give you a heads up that our the manufacturer of our products "Secret"Click Here to see the site in case you forgot....They are starting to get on the stick and carry out the P&R guidelines. That reads. "NO brand names, trademarks, product pictures are to be on websites, blogs, etc..." So from now on I'll be refering to the manufacturer as my "Barefoot Secret" and using generic names for products and linking them to my personal website. It's one of those secrets that will be easy to figure out if someone is really curious the mystery can be easily solved by clicking on www.shaklee.net/cindy If you are in the process of designing a website or weblog... it would be in your best interest study the "Barefoot Secret" P&R Guidelines BEFORE you have to burn the midnight oil and clean up your sites. Do already have a "Secret" site other that your PWS? If I were you I would go over it with a fine tooth comb to ensure it passes the P&R Guidlines. Master Coordinator Gary Burke shared a great coaching tip with us this week. He said this is how he and Faye have taught their people over the years to be experts on the Shaklee products, and it goes hand in hand with the Shakleeize the home concept of building volume. What's so neat about this self-training idea on the products is- you don't have to go to meetings to learn this. You don't have to read books. You don't have to listen to a bunch of tapes, and you don't have to take a training course on the products. Instead, you are able to do this every day in your own home, and it only takes 4 or 5 minutes a day to do it. Got your attention? You see, the knowledge you want to know about Shaklee products, and what you need to know, is already within your grasp. Here is all you need to do to become an expert on the Shaklee products, and the more products you use in your home, the greater expert on Shaklee products you will be! You select 4 Shaklee products you have in your home, and you put those 4 products on your kitchen counter, table-- some place where you can easily see them and use them every day. Two times a day, you use each of the 4 products. You read what it says (not the ingredients) on the label about the product, both times you use the product. You also place a Shaklee catalog with those 4 products, and each time you use them, you look that product up in the catalog and you read what it says about that product. You do this for one week with those 4 products twice a day. That will be 14 times in one week you will have used each product and read what the label and catalog has to say about each product. You will know it by heart. You will also become creative in using the products, like Basic H for example. You will find 2 different uses for Basic H each day, 14 different ways to use it in a week. The next week, you pick 4 different products and repeat the process. If you will dedicate yourself to doing this, in 2 months you will be an expert on 32 different Shaklee products! Keep it going if you want to learn about more products. It's like an exercise program in that, the best way to stay in shape is to exercise for a few minutes each day. Do it for a few days and it becomes a habit and part of your daily routine. As you talk to new people about the Shaklee business and the Shaklee products, the question you are most likely to get is- How are you doing with the business? or How do the products work- are they good products? When you can tell them from your own experience, and you can tell them your own story, that's what really sells them on Shaklee.

Written By Gary Burke (Master Coordinator) Everyone in the Shaklee business has one thing in common and that is we all face obstacles on a very regular basis. What I have observed over the years is the people who develop a strong belief have less problems with obstacles. Small or large obstacles just don't seem to bother certain people as much as others. So the real issue isn't the obstacle as much as it is your belief level about the issue. Just think about that for a minute, YOUR BELIEF LEVEL is what will most likely determine how you handle or approaqch the obstacles you may face while building your Shaklee business. Keep in mind that even though you may have tremendous belief in the products, sales plan, the future, your process of recruiting and training, and the people in your organization, we all will face obstacles. We must continually ask ourselves questions about OUR OWN BELIEF LEVEL as this will help us to move forward and not throw our hands in the air and just give up. Don't allow anything to distract you from going after your dream. So this brings me to ask a few questions and only you have the answers. --> How is your belief level about the incredible Shaklee products? --> How is your belief level about learning and presenting the Shaklee opportunity? --> What is your belief level about doing meetings in small groups in prospects homes? (or via webcasts like barefootmentor) --> What is your belief level concerning working hard building your Shaklee business? --> How do you respond when people criticize you and your efforts? I could go on and on with asking questions about our belief level. Another question is how can I build on the belief I do have? The following are methods for building incredible strong belief. Attend meetings, don't miss a major conference or convention, listen to tapes and CD's, attend all training sessions you possible can, have a mentor who can give you good direction, LISTEN TO YOUR MENTOR, read books on personal development and success oriented books, and use all the Shaklee products. It's your future and the more attention you invest in building your personal belief the stronger you will become. As you become stronger you will find that obstacles are what they are and no more.
